We have 3 options for seating in the restaurant:
This area contains our wine bar as well as a 10-person high top community table with a wonderful granite surface and 3 4-person high top tables, one of which overlooks the patio. This is the most popular area with our regulars who like to enjoy dinner, dessert or a glass of wine while chatting with friends.
Our patio is our primary seating area. With beautiful glass walls on the front and sides and french doors serving as windows, it has a wonderful breeze throughout the summer to keep it cool. In the winter, we have patio heaters that keep it nice and toasty outside, even on chilly San Diego evenings.
We have music on the patio 5 nights a week, everything from smooth jazz to pop classics.
INDOOR DINING ROOM
Our indoor dining area is toward the back of the restaurant and extends from the bar area. It’s a quieter option most nights for those who want a bit of distance from the live music on the patio.
Bistro Sixty began as San Diego Desserts, a wholesale bakery in 1999, providing desserts to local restaurants, hotels and other venues. In 2008 we wanted to make a deeper connection to our neighbors, so we added a few tables to the front of the store so people in the neighborhood could enjoy a dessert here in the restaurant, or buy some to take home. Soon after we added restaurant seating, we added bistro food to our menu.
The new menu was well received and in 2009 we expanded to include patio dining and began offering wine to complement our bistro food. Our goal is to provide a fun, relaxing environment where you can enjoy food, friends and wine in a safe, comfortable environment.
For us, the thing we love about bistro sixty is that it’s like having you over to our home. Maybe that’s why our neighbors and guests are so important to us–and over the years we’ve come to know them as friends. –Mark & Arturo
